There are many different kinds of clothing items in Animal Jam. Occasionally, AJHQ releases an item to test the waters; to see if Jammers will like that particular item or not. The original glove is one of those items. It was first released during the Beta Testing phase of the game, and after seeing its popularity, it was re-released into the full game a couple of years later.
Today, there are many different kinds of gloves available in the game. They all have their own theme, were released during a certain event or simply because they look amazing. I have made a small list of some of the most popular and sought-after gloves of Animal Jam. Let’s take a look at what those gloves are all about, and how you can obtain them for yourself.
Original Animal Jam Gloves
These are the gloves that I was mentioning about above. The official name of this item is simply “Glove”, but they are better known as the “Original Gloves”. They were first seen in the game during the Beta Testing phase, and then later re-released on November 20, 2014. The glove has a small cuff at the wrist, and four buttons on the knuckle areas. The Original Gloves have a total of sixteen different varieties. Eight of those varieties have the rare tag on them.
Legendary Glove
The Legendary Glove was first released in June 2011, and was rewarded as a Monthly Member Gift. Years later, on December 31, 2017, it was reintroduced to the game. You can still buy the Legendary Glove in the Diamond Shop. The glove appears like a claw of a vicious animal, four fingers that have sharp claws and tips at the end. The glove also has crystal gems embedded into it. The Legendary Glove comes in eight different color varieties.
Lava Glove in AJ
The Lava Glove is another item that was rewarded as a Monthly Member Gift in June 2011. On March 18, 2017, it was re-released into the game, and is sold at the Diamond Shop. The glove almost looks like an oven mitt, protecting your hands from the heat. The design on the glove is supposedly holding lava, which is also why the glove is called the Lava Glove. There are eight different varieties of this item.
Mummy Glove
The Mummy Glove was also a part of the Monthly Member Gifts feature, rewarded to members in June 2011. It was re-released into the game on December 18, 2015 and December 2, 2016. It left the stores on November 26, 2017. The Mummy Glove looks like you would expect; the hand of a mummy. It has linen wrapped around it, has leather straps and a buckle, as well as a gem on it. There are eight different color varieties of this item.
Dragon Glove
If you ever wanted to look like a dragon in AJ, the Dragon Glove is the accessory for you! It looks like a dragon’s claw, with four sharp nails. This glove was also released as a Monthly Member Gift in June 2011, but was re-released on February 20, 2014, and sold at the Diamond Shop. The Dragon Glove has a total of eight different varieties.
Zios Glove
The Zios Glove has the Zios symbol on it, as well as some gems surrounding it. This glove was released on May 3, 2016. It used to be sold at the Epic Wonders, but was removed on August 15, 2016. There are a total of eight different varieties of the Zios Glove.
Custom Glove
The Custom Glove is quite large in size, and has small spikes surrounding it. At the bottom of the glove, there are sharp nails with lines going over them. It comes in only one color, which is magenta. The glove was released on May 18, 2017, and used to be sold at the Diamond Shop.
Phantom Glove
If you are looking for Phantom themed items, the Phantom Glove is your best bet. This glove was released on May 18, 2017, and sold at the Diamond Shop. The item appears to be made out of metal, and has two Phantom eyes; one on the top and one on the side. There are three sharp claws on the glove, and the wrist has a thick band. The Phantom Glove has eight color varieties.
Unicorn Clove
The Unicorn Glove almost resembles a sneaker, with two crossing laces at the top. There is a large white ring that goes over the toes. On that white ring, there is a unicorn horn. When the player wears these gloves, some animated sparkles will appear. The item was first released in the Diamond Shop on May 18, 2017, during the Wild Weekend – New Gloves event. It comes in a total of eight different color varieties.
Mega-Glove 3000
If you are going for a more robotic feel, the Mega-Glove 3000 is just the item for you. It almost looks like the hand of a robot, with a tube on the side, a meter on the front and a really metallic feel. This item was released on May 18, 2017, also as a part of the Wild Weekend event. It has a total of eight different varieties.
Rare Freedom Glove
The Rare Freedom Glove is simply a freedom-themed variant of the “Original Glove”. It was released on July 1, 2013, as a Rare Item Monday. The glove is mainly white, has a blue wrist and red knuckles. There is only one variety of this item.
Golden Glove
If you are more interested in showing wealth, the Golden Glove is exactly what you’re looking for. It consists of a solid gold color, and only one variety of it is available. It was released in 2012, and was obtainable at Epic Wonders.
Silver Glove
The Silver Glove is very similar to the Golden Glove, but is a solid silver color instead. This glove was released on June 30, 2012 and was available at Epic Wonders.
Cartoon Glove
The Cartoon Glove almost looks like the glove of a very famous cartoon character; a mouse. It is made out of thick material, and has two darker stripes on the top of it. The Cartoon Glove was first released on May 25, 2017, sold at the Summer Carnival Shop. It comes in nine different color varieties.
